Ｓ・ボイル、プレスリーとクリスマスソングを「デュエット」

　オーディション番組から誕生した歌手スーザン・ボイルが、 故エルビス・プレスリーと 「デュエット」した クリスマスソングを １２月８日に 世界発売する。 ボイルが２８日明らかにした。 デュエットした曲は 讃美歌「神の御子は今宵しも」 (O Come, All Ye Faithful)。 ボイルはロイターテレビに対し、 生前に録音された プレスリーの音源との デュエットについて 「とてもエキサイティング」 と語った。 ボイルはまた、 非政府組織（ＮＧＯ） 「セーブ・ザ・チルドレン」 の大使に任命された ことを明かし、 同曲の収益は 同団体の活動のために 寄付されるという。 なお、 同曲を収録した ボイル５枚目となるアルバム 「ホーム・フォー・クリスマス」は 日本で 来月６日に発売予定。
