Initial Word on August 02 and Ocotober 02 FTD Releases and FTD's own Web Site
Unfortunately there will be a two week delay on this release. We have decided to change the title from THE LAST TOURS to SPRING TOURS '77, as several of you did not like the original title. Additionally many of you ordered very late, or still haven't ordered, but we hope you will all have your CD's around May 15.
As for the next FTD release, it will be postponed to AUGUST 16, in order to avoid clashingwith RCA's TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER box set (and yes - the box is coming out through normal retail all over the world). The August release will be titled THE NASHVILLE MARATHON, and include outtakes from June and September,1970. We hope that you will agree with this choice - we are carefully following the various discussions on the Elvis web sites, and feel that enough people have asked for 70's studio material, to warrant this release.
The October release may again be moved, as we do not want it to come out at he same time as RCA's no.1 package. We have decided on a soundboard show, but not decided which one yet. Unfortunately we don't have soundboards of all Elvis concerts, so the many wonderful suggestions we get from collectors, can't always be fulfilled. We think that most of you already know that we don't have the New Years Eve show, nor the July 1975 tour. We are constantly on the lookout for shows, and whenever we can, we buy tapes.
FOLLOW THAT DREAM will also open a web-site this summer - more detail to follow.

New release from "Follow That Dream" label
"Fame And Fortune" (74321-92856-2)
Release date: April 1st 2002

After carefully examining the wealth of unreleased outtakes from Elvis' early 60'es Nashville sessions, we decided to limit the time span for FAME AND FORTUNE to the first 12 months of Elvis post-army career. The number of great songs, and wonderful outtakes once again underlines the fact that Elvis's voice was never more spectacular than during this period. FAME AND FORTUNE covers the album sessions for ELVIS IS BACK, HIS HAND IN MINE and SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY, including several of the additional hit singles recorded at these sessions.
